My wife and I were delighted at the exemplary service provided by Whitlock?s and its staff. The food was reasonably priced and the wine exemplary. I ate steak, my wife chose pasta. Both these dishes arrived within ten minutes, along with fresh ground pepper and parmesan cheese. We ate, drank a liter of wine and were on our way, well satisfied with both the service and the meal. I would recommend this restaurant.

Simple, pleasant, elegant and appealing. My first visit. I was eager to participate in filling out this review. I feel that the negative implications expressed by some of the reviewers on this site are both biased and factually incorrect. This restaurant is benevolent and skilled.

I went for Sunday brunch buffet. It was excellent. The food was great, including waffles and omelette bar, eggs benedict and florentine, pancakes, sausages, homefries, roast beef, hot and cold breakfast and lunch dishes, salads, baked goods, cherry tarts and creme caramel. The service was QUICK, including coffee refills, removing our dishes, replenishing the buffet, and the chef making the waffles and omelettes as fast as he possibly could, to keep up with the hoards of customers eager to gobble them up! I have no complaints, other than the fact that some of the people dining there seem to get crabby when they have to wait a while to get at the food! I will definitely be back with friends! I don't like dirt in my food either, and I did not find any whatsoever.

First off, we were one of the only tables in the restaurant...funny for a Saturday night, but all too clear why the place was empty.
Lettuce was unwashed & I ate dirt. Chicken rubbery. Pastas seemed like they were yesterdays leftovers (dry and crunchie). Servers rude and unknowledgable about their menu. I was embarassed taking my guests to this restaurant. Never again!
