Kori's Roti Stop est un restaurant accueillant. Ce lieu apprécié est ouvert en soirée du mardi au vendredi et en journée pendant les fins de semaine. L'accès est facile par voiture.
Food was great. I like it hot and it was hot enough. I wouldn't order the large portion of chicken meal as I felt there was too much rice.
I saw this location on the TV show: Street Eats.
I found the young lady working the counter to be not a people person and wasn't interested in small chat despite not being busy. I guess she wasn't interested in customers coming back.
Luckily the food was enough for me to come back.
I have been visiting Kori's Roti for 20 years, since they first opened. I moved away and back again, and as a Trini I can say the food is tops. It provides a clean and efficient service. If you have ever been to a Caribbean restaurant you know this place is fast (for Caribbean food). The wait is usually due to the large volume of orders this place handles. Location is hard to find, but well worth it. Best Doubles in Canada on Saturday morning, but go early, they sell out fast. Kudos to Kori for selling to family who is so dedicated to keeping her good name with great food and a great atmosphere.
I love this place, it's on my way to work and when I'm too busy to pack a lunch I usually drop in and grab a roti to go. My only complaint is that at times it's really backed up and can take anywhere between 2 minutes (if it happens to be not so busy) or up to 20 minutes if the line is out the door. I also like mine hot and the pepper sauce is really unpredictable, sometimes when you order it hot it will burn off your tongue...other times it's so tame that you'd wished you had ordered suicide; regardless it's still a tasty meal that will fill you up.
