we went to the Pubto celebrate a birthday, there was about six of us. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed outdoors and in....we had to wait about 35 minutes, but were served beverages at the bar quickly ...when we got our table the girl behind the bar seemed rather irritated that we wanted our tab transferred to our table so as not to have pay twice. however that was the only poorness we encountered. once seated we were taken quite good care of. All of or needs met, and everything was delicious and amazing. portions were large and everything was full of flavour. Our waitrees was very knowledgable and explained to us that mostly everything on the menu was made in house.
Even though it was an extremely busy night, we never felt like we were being rushed or igrnored. The server was very attentive.
We will definatley be returning SOON!!!
Wow! just reading the reviews for the Collingwood location makes me think that I should have hopped in my car with my wife and did a road trip to the Collingwood location and avoided the Hamilton location. Save your money and avoid the Hamilton Beaver and Bulldog. It's dirty, service is slow and the food is tasteless. We have not been to the Hamilton location in about a year or so. We enjoyed it very much. This visit was terrible and we will not be back!
Great pub food, some interesting ideas added to the menu. FANTASTIC, HUGE WINGS with lots of sauces, but the jerk ones were waaay to hot for even my husband to eat more than 4. The nachos needed A LOT more cheese, there was only 1/4 sprinkled on there.
This restaurant is one of the best in Collingwood, hands down. It is very reasonably priced and is always serving good food. My fiance and I try alot of different resturants but we always say "why didn't we go to the B & B". The only bad thing about this restaurant is its placement. Right near a sewage treatment plant and somedays it smells pretty bad. Don't let that deter you though, a VERY much try :)
Love coming here. Make a point of it to be in Cwood around lunch time so I can have my salad or wings. Lots of different drafts on tap as well. Freindly staff, clean environment.
