Whitestone completely renovated the interior and exterior of our 35 year old home. Fast, friendly staff made for an exceptional experience. The trades were extremely knowledgeable and professional. When the renovation was complete, the home was so tight our power bill went from $450/month to under $200 and we didn't even change the heat source! Don't pass these guys up!

Yuille Auto is a great shop. They have been servicing our family vehicles for years and even now that we live in Halifax we still take our cars to Yuille. I had the absolute pleasure of doing business with Mike! I lived in an older home that was in desparate need of a bathroom reno. Mike came to my house, discussed my plans and provided me with a quote.
Not only did he install a new tub with enclosure, a new toilet and vanity set, but he also installed all the ceramic tiling as well!
Mike was very detailed oriented and cleaned up after himself as he went.
Being 1 of 2 females who have to contend with all aspects of owning a home, I was pleased to see that Mike did not treat me any differently. My advise is, if you want it done right, call Mike!

Great experience. The gentleman did a great job fixing a broken pipe in my basement wall, he was fast, didn't even cut a large hole in the drywall. I was pleasantly surprised with how small that hole was. He showed me exactly what he was doing, told me why it had to be done and was just super fast and effective. He also replaced a braided hose under my kitchen sink that was leaking and inspected the surrounding wood and advised me that the wood was ok, it just needed to dry out and then be pa

I have been a Barrett Firewood customer for about 15 years. I was disappointed when they stopped providing 8' length and went to cut-and-split. Three years ago I accepted 6 cord of cut-and-split and found it measured a bit more than I usually got working seven cord at 8'. Me and my family were very happy to have an actual person answer the phone when our hot water tank started flooding the basement on one late Sunday night. It was a nightmare and we could not shut the water off. Their plumbing technician came right away and stopped the water from rising to what he showed us as live electrical outlets. I had no idea or even thought of that. Then to top it off he replaced our damaged electric hot water tank right then and there. I never write things like reviews or survays but I was so impressed and thankful, I feel I should let everyone know how prompt and clean the service was. They say they usually can get to you within 24 hrs normally and right away for emergency service

These guys are amazing. They came to my home near Tantallon twice to show me how to work the water treatment system in the home we purchased. Perry took the time to test our water, to tell me what chemical to use, how often, how to check. He fully educated me and didn't charge for either one of the two service calls.
I was so grateful to learn our system and offered to pay... he wouldn't accept payment. Wow
Whenever it is we upgrade or get a new water treatment system, Diamond is where we go

Darren and his crew were excellent. Hard working and accountable. They were there everyday until our move was ready and back when it was ready to be lowered on to the new foundation. He did some digging and back fill along with some bedrock removal all at reasonable rates and was available whenever we wanted him. A great choice!
