When visiting my friend at nearby Royal Columbian Hospital we stumbled upon this stylish eatery and decided to give it a try! The restaurant is beautifully furnished and warm with dark wooden floor. We ordered the Pad Thai, Green curry and crispy spring rolls. While we waited for the food we could hear the other table rave about their dishes to the server. I am well acquainted with Thai food and couldn't wait to see what all the fuss was about! As my curiosity peaked our spring rolls arrived, well presented and un-oily! Were these really deep fried? My daughter has been attending art classes at Polka Dot Art Studio since the opening in May. I can’t say enough great things about this studio. The teachers are amazing and so patient with the children. I have been to other studios in the past and I found that there was really no direction with the lessons…at Polka Dot the teachers are always prepared with something new and exciting for the children to learn! Very satisfied with my color. This sweet lady (not the owner) did my hair, which was a nightmare. Needed color correction in a bad way, (my blond was turning orange). I was really nervous, but she took her time, reassured me and in the end she was right! I LOVE my new ash blonde! Used the 50% discount for first time customer, so the price was good. A little concerned about cost when I go back however as the 50% wont apply. Will still return however. A good hair dresser is hard to find. Lire plus
