Not very thorough, I had to take my car in to another mechanic only a month after bringing it here for several repairs, and many important things had been missed. They are also quite rude.

This Shop Has Been Great To Me With All my Mechanic Needs , Ive Had Countless Problems With My Cars Over The Years And The Good Honest People That Work At 1st Auto Take Good Care Of Me At A Great Price ...I Recommend Everyone I Know To Go There Because Of The Honesty And Prices.

They took advantage of me!

They took advantage of me! I had my car towed there because my battery was completely dead on central and the express way. I had my 6 month old and 4 year old with me. It was blazing hot and I just wanted the car fixed. He charged me $310 plus tax to change my battery. He overcharged me and took advantage of me. He doesn't know how to take care of customers that aren't happy. He said a racist remark towards me and called the cops and was told, he was in the wrong. Go somewhere else,better off.

I passed by this shop all the time and I never drove in until recently, I wish I drove in years ago. I used to go to another shop, where I had a problem with the car shifting. Those mechanics replaced my transmission but that didn't solve the problem. But 1st Auto service had checked my van out, and right away they knew it was not the transmission but the catalytic converter. And it cost less than $250 parts and labor, rather than the $2000 i spent on the transmission at the other shop. Anyways these guys are honest, fair and they try their best to solve the problem. Try them out!

Have used this shop in the past and they did a good job. Recently used them and did not fix the problem with my vehicle. Fixed things that didn't need repair. They are cheap, but dont let the pricw fool you. Ill never go back.

HI Ben , you say you are my customer from 2005 to 2013 so 8 years you are happy with our service and prices , I am so sad to hear that you are never come back to our shop ,we don’t want to lose a god customer. and I want to tell you I am still the owner of 1st auto and I will be happy if you come back to our shop , and about my son he is under training from 2008 until now and he is good with his work and with the way he treat our customer , and our customer for us they are more than customer, most of them they are our friends . and a gain we want you back .

Finally a mechanic who fixed it

Went to 2 other mechanics to stop a squeak in front left of the car. One mechanic changed upper control arm and it was still squeaking. Another mechanic shop put a faulty lower ball joint charged me a double what everybody else did and did not want to replace but put grease in there to stop the squeak. The grease wears about and the front squeaks again. Finally got it changed at first auto and problem over. Also great rates. Owners son was very helpful in identifying the problem.

Never go again.

I went to 1st auto from 2005 because of it's reasonable price and service. but the quality of service is becoming bad after his son's joining. I never go to 1st from the beginning of this year not recommend anyone to it.

I have been going to 1st Auto for the past 7 year. I had 8 of my cars fixed and serviced. Very up front Straight forward honest. Good price too. Don't live in Windsor any more, but I still go there.
