I have been to the Squires Rd. site several times and they are very professional and well organized. Directions were easy to understand. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very glad we have Miller Waste since the Durham site is only open one day a week!
Been there many time over the years and never had a bad experience. Some of the people who work there could be more friendly. But the young guy with the shade umbrella directing people could not be any more friendly. I would put him in charge of customer relations!!!
I have dealt there for many years and have had an issue only once. this was when you gave them a deposit upon entering so we are going back a few years. Drove in no problem, scale broke down traffic backed up at least twenty cars and trucks. Needed to leave to pick up my 5 year old from school so I used my cell to phone them. Told them my problem. Nothing we can do at this time we are working on it. Drove out of line and left through the exit to the north. PICKED UP MY SON ON TIME. DEPSIT GONE.

This company doesnt deserve a star at all.Employees are mean, including the manager.I ordered a wrong size bin and requested to return it for a bigger one since the cost is the same as we have lots of garbage during our backyard landscape. Karry the employee upholdshetself that she didnt have the error of sending the bin i requested so if I wAnt a bigger one, i have to pay for the lift charge twice plus the weight of the garbage.I requested if she can void the lift on the smaller bin for customer service sake, since its the first time i dealt with them.Karry is so fake and she discussed the issue to the manager.i requested to talk to the manager and tbis lady is arrogant and sarcastic, she would have pick up the small bin empty at no cost, thereby lossing the sale. Than to replace the existing small bin with a bigger one to provide customer satisfaction, get the sale and earn profit. I am questioning the goaltbis manager is having for their business, is it to defend the arrogance of their employee or to provide customer satisfaction and earn profit..managers like this dont deserve their position and higher mgt should know about this, as this will bring the business down.
First and last time at this place. It was quick to get in but it took me 40 minutes to get out, at least 2 minutes for each vehicle in front of me. Other Durham transfer stations are a lot faster . The staff at the drop off point, who never bothered to get off their chairs, just told me to throw my stuff in any bin. I told them I had large batteries that had to be recycled and then they directed me.
