Great store, love the atmosphere! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Don't mind spending the extra 2 bucks on some items (although their prices are actually better than big box stores!) Definitely recommend for anyone who needs attention and help choosing gear, books or instruments! Cheers Gino! Great work!

Gino and his staff are always excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, couldn't ask for better. Anytime I've had qualms with a price, with something that may be cheaper elsewhere, it has been resolved to our satisfaction. All three of our kids have taken lessons there. In addition, Gino always comes through on any community involvement we ask him.

people at granata...

people at granata are very nice but it takes more than nice sales people to get repeat customers. 2 significant negatives against granata. first, their products are overpriced. i discovered this only after making my purchases. st. john's music store (up the street on merivale) and even costco has better prices on musical instruments. the other significant negative is that there are no refunds at granata. st. john's at least has a 7 day refund policy and costco will take anything back.
