The owner was clueless. His customer service was non-existent--in fact--he was insulting and rude. I will never return to this casual dining establishment.

FINALLY are restaurant in Belleville that knows food, service and ambiance. I received a gift ceritificate to this restaurant as a welcome to Belleville present and it was BY FAR the best thing given to me since my family and I relocated here. We had the best experience from entry to exit. The staff is so warm, welcoming and accommodating to our every need. They have an extensive wine selection (no other restaurant in town compares...trust me I've been to every one) I can't say enough good things about our experience here. I would like to thank Connie, Michael and our server Kelly for making our night a GREAT one...
This is not a family friendly restaurant. No menu for children. Over priced. Salmon was drowned in tasteless sauce. Asked for the vegetables got pasta. Vegetables poorly cooked (potatoes and wrinkled beans). Veal parmigiana was also drowned in tasteless tomato sauce. Sea food antipasti were very tasty. Tried to put two stars for the service but could not save as such.
First timers and dressed for the occasion. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Excellent service (and I don't usually tip). Loved the food, especially the egg soup. Delicious!
We had excellent service. The soup was delicious, pasta was generous and cooked/presented well. The dessert was good and was enjoyed. The decor was well appointed. Loved the chandeliers and table cover design! This was our first time and don't regret it in any way. Been a long time since I was somewhere I felt comfortable dressing up in or being casual. Recommend!!!
Oversauced glop. Over salted - poorly plated. Veal was tasty, and well cooked - but it was extremely excessively sauced & served with over cooked commercial penne in salty weak blush sauce. Really no thought as to the meal perhaps going together!!! The calamari tasted frozen and was rubbery with a thai ???? sauce. Just weird. Let 's not even start on the plastic plants.... like a funeral home.
Best Italian food in Belleville (ok, not a high bar!). The service was ok but nothing special. The appetizer was good, the pasta was excellent. Loved the sauce. My wife had veal marsala and enjoyed it. Nice choice of wines. Little pricey, but overall we really enjoyed. Will return!
The wine list needs the vintages printed if I am going to spend 75 on a bottle of wine. So I stuck with the house wine - not very good. The mozzarella and tomato appetizer was not served on a bed of romaine as it was described on the menu. I ordered the veal dipped in egg and Parmesan. What I got was lemon veal.
Partner knew my favorite place for dining, t'was my birthday, romantic corner near fireplace, waiter was very attentive and pleasant, food was great. I noticed the price hike since last visit, is it warranted?????
Went to this restaurant for our staff Christmas party, first we had to wait for our table even though we had a reservation, which is not a big deal, however while waiting at the bar no drinks were offered at all. I had the bruschetta with mozarella for an appetizer, when it arrived I could tell it had sat, the bread was soggy. For my entree I had the Filet Mignon with tortellini as the side, my steak was over cooked ( I had ordered medium, it was well done) and my pasta was cold. The waitress gave us two pitchers of water for 12 people when we first sat down and never refilled the jugs or even offered to do so. The service was quite poor, our waitress was nowhere to be found for a half hour even though a number of us were waiting for our leftovers, we had to ask one of the other servers to bring our bill. This is the second time I've been to this restaurant and the service was sub-par on both occasions especially given the price of the meals, I will not be returning.
First time for lunch at the North Front location. We went on October 27 2009. I found my steak sandwich to be very tender and flavourful. The Caesar salad was very good. My wife's linguine dish was hot, just the way she likes it and was very good as well. The Italian salad was a nice change from the old standards. The decor is very upscale and classy. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. We will return.... a thumbs up!
Went for the first time after some friends of mine have been telling me to go with them for the longest time. The service was a little disappointing for a place which has such great reviews. The food was alright. I mean its pasta... I don't think you can really mess up pasta. I think the portions are huge which probably is the only thing that entices people. Nice decor but when I go to a place the atmosphere is secondary to the food. That's just me though. The way I see it if you're with good company any place can be amazing but the food is sub par then well there is a problem. I would say the food is decent but not for someone looking who is health conscious. Also if you like overpriced meals this place is for you. Would go back only because there are limited restaurants in Belleville.
Frequented 'old' Linguine's on Pinnacle. It was friendly and a good value. They moved and went more 'upscale', but the food did not improve to justify their recent price increase. Example, there is no way their salad is worth $9. Entrees went up about $3 across the board. My last visit was 26 January. We did not receive water, the waiter was very inattentive and slow. The price increase really turned me off. meat was tough and the sauce was bland. The food is just adequate. Very disappointing- new location had potential.
Two of us went for lunch at 1pm. The waitress sat us down and never returned. We left after 20 minutes. So poor service is our observation. The software has forced me to leave a rating on the food but we didn't have the oportunity to try anyting.
a group of my girlfriends went in, and after being greated by the fabulous owner, and superb staff we were sat without reservations, the atmosphere was beautiful and tastefully done. Our server came to the table 'brian' and after as saying "hey whats up can i bring you something to drink" we ordered, but felt as though we were treated as though we had gone into a pub, his approach was not welcome, and his manners, were to say the least not up to what you would think the restaurant would have. However the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful, We'll be back, but maybe ask to be in a different section. I recommend linguines to all my friends.
I took my spouse there for his birthday. I ordered the linguine carbonara and it was excellent. Perfectly cooked with exquisite flavour. My spouse ordered the Risotto special, but he didn't really enjoy it as the rice was like a minute rice not a big risotto. The salads were okay, though like most restaraunts they use iceberg lettuce which I don't care much for. The decor was ok, though we felt a little crammed in with no privacy. As the selection of restaraunts in this area are limited, yes we would go again.
We were greeted by the owner, who made us feel welcome. The server was very attentive! The food was Great! The atmosphere was beautiful! We enjoyed ourselves, the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back, one of the best experiences by far. Thank you!!The Tiramisu has always been a favorite, now I have 2 favorites try the deep fried cheese cake its to die for!!!
I was there on a first date. The food wasn't bad but the service was very slow. Our waiter was very attentive, however he addressed us as "you guys". Even after I jokingly set him straight and told him that I (very visibly female) wasn't a guy, he just didn't seem to "get it" and continued to address us that way each time he came to our table. Are "you guys" ready to order? Did "you guys" enjoy your meal? Would "you guys" like coffee or dessert?
I brought family to the new location on Bell Blvd. after we declined Kelsies due to a 40min wait list. It was a very nice atmosphere but the first thing out of my dads mouth was "How expensive is this place?" I assured him they were reasonably priced. I was wrong, there prices had gone up quite a bit from there Pinnical location. Service was good, not the most professional for the atmosphere. Over all I had a great meal -portion sizing is too much, and it was pricey, but I would go back. It will definatly be a special occation tho.
Excellent atmosphere and decor. The owner accompanied our meals to the table. We were dinning with a nine month old baby, who was welcomed and chatted up while we ate. The bread and dipping oils were great, our main course arrived quite quickly, the pasta was a little cold and served seperately from the mussels which were amazing. Our server checked on us several times throughout the meal. Dessert was also excellent. The Owner was also available to wish us well as we were leaving. We look forward to our next visit.
