Fairfield Bikes did for $325 including taxes work that Oak Bay Bikes told me would be $600. And Fairfield was apologetic about how much it cost! This is definitely the shop for recreational bikers.

I was researching recumbent trikes, and Paul gave me by far the best and most detailed advice of all the people I contacted - he answered all my emailed questions (not just the first one!) in detail. He is also a Catrike owner, so had first hand knowledge of these trikes. It got to the point that although I live in Vancouver, I had decided to go to the Island to buy from him. As it happens, I found a used trike that worked perfectly, but I wanted to give him a good review for honest advice.
