Style-savvy Jenelle Marshall and her accounting-and-marketing-whiz husband Chris Marshall are the duo behind Hunni’s Steveston Village. Stocked with well-priced, trendsetting apparel and accessories, the stylish womenswear boutique proves that affordable clothing doesn’t have to compromise on quality.
Following the success of the first Hunni's location in Langley, which was founded by twin sisters Christi Hunniford and Danielle Stratuliak in 2004, Jenelle felt Steveston Village was the perfect location for a second outpost. “I think Steveston women were ready for fresh new looks, which are trendy and really well made,” she says.
Opened in 2016, Hunni’s Steveston Village attracts a diverse clientele that ranges from teen trendsetters to professional working women. Jenelle has been pleasantly surprised to see many Baby Boomers come in and shop for chic pieces. “I think we are attracting women of all ages because we offer clothes and accessories which are West Coast-inspired cozy-casual,” says the savvy entrepreneur.
