I would eat here again. The food was very good and I thought the price was reasonable. The salmon sandwich was very tasty . I was pretty stuffed after my meal. Being from the city, I really liked the home style feeling.
Since new management has taken over (approx. mid October) the food has improved. The cook adds his own personal touch to the flavor, which is very good. The portions are generous and a very reasonable price. The bakery which is part of the restaurant adds fresh baking to the meals. The taco salad with his special dressing is my favorite. Since new management I've eaten there 4 times, when previously it was 4 times in the last year. Friendly staff. Call before coming from a distance as cook also does catering and is occasionally closed for special events.
The food was good but portion sizes are extremely small for the price. For $13 each we got 3 small home made perogies, a small piece of farmer's summer sausage and a serving of coleslaw. The bill for the 4 of us, with coffee and pie, came to $80!! If you want to stop just have the pie and coffee
