The food is average, but the value is well below average.
We came as a large group. They added 15% as a service charge. When I pointed out the service charge was on TOP of the taxes (we are now being charged a service on our taxes?! -- I thought we had enough tax in Canada), the server told me next time I would be charged 45% tax just for pointing out their intentional error.
He then proceeded to count out my change on the table, to make it very evident to the people behind me waiting to pay, that he was counting every single penny. I told him he could just put it in my hand but he told me he would show me how much I was receiving.
As I walked out the door he made some other rude comments -- absolutely lower class service.
The food was awful. What a waste of 5o bucks and a waste of time. I ordered Lobster Tail to start it was covered in butter and sauteed oinions. It was awful. I ordered spicy tuna rolls and another roll that had soft shell crab they were both rolled soo loosely that I had more rice all over the plate and in my side plate. I think for sushi the main thing is to know how to roll. The staff were rude ignored me and had a snide remark when i was leaving
and told them I was disappointed. Will never go here again
I have been living in Fort Mc for 6 months now and I have been to Fuji atleast 5-6 times. I just love their sushi. Best I can find in Fort Mc. There Service is Good Too.
I was in Fort McMurray on business and met up with a friend who lives there. He said Fuji was good. We had a feast of sushi that was among the best I've ever had. The service was perfect, easy to find, easy to park. There was a line up, but it turned out to be worth the wait.
I've had high-end sushi in Hollywood, Vancouver, & Whistler to name a few places and this was as good or better than all of them. If you love sushi, Fuji is totally worth the trip to Fort McMurray!
